Fantastic info. I do have a different view of things like condiments though . Our budget is tight here so I focus on the bulk of our food which is veg, fruit, meat and grain being as local and chemical free etc as possible. Our condiments that i don't make , I don't mind having conventional such as sugar , salt, even oils that are currently considered bad oils because it makes up such a small percentage of my family's whole foods diet. Its a choice I have to make to keep our budget where it needs to be. If I have the money, I do choose quality condiments as well . 🥰

    Love the tips!

Only thing I would add is that vinegar makes an excellent glass cleaner, rinse aid and fabric softener, but it does not disinfect. Even in greater concentrations than is readily available to the average person, it still needs to sit on a surface for 20+ minutes to kill germs. This is impractical. Alcohol (70%+) is a much more efficient disinfectant. And soap, such as Castile, is also effective at dissolving germs (which you then wash away with a clean wet cloth).

    Thank you for this info!
I also watch Flav City with Bobby Flav who has the same ethics also!
I changed to natural cleaning products also and so much better than breathing toxic chemicals!
    Using cast iron cookware again!
Was going to buy some other cookware but will look into stainless steel again!
Had a set for years! It was a popular name brand but can’t remember it!
Just use Avocado spray and olive oil!
But will try the avocado oil!

Laura just so you know about isopropyl alcohol…All cancer patients have both isopropyl alcohol and the intestinal fluke in their livers. The solvent, isopropyl alcohol, is responsible for letting the fluke establish itself in the liver. In order to get cancer, you must have both the parasite and isopropyl alcohol in your body.Isopropyl alcohol accumulates in the liver, resulting in completion of the life cycle of Fasciolopsis in the liver. This establishes the malignant process.

Just normal Stainless steel isn't good for you..
I have a Nickel intolerance and Stainless steel was contributing to the intolerance! I had to hunt down 18/0 Stainless Steel. It gives no chemicals off at all, totally free of anything that can contribute to a allergy.
As is the same for all Stainless Steel kitchen utensils and appliances they all have a huge amount on Nickel in them that goes into your food as you eat it!! Anyone who wants a completely non toxic cook system they should be buying 18/0 Stainless steel and not normal Stainless steel.
Also all canned food items are packed with Nickel as are lots of everyday food items, Nickel is everywhere..I'm also dairy intolerant so that just about wipes out most food items. It has really opened my eyes to all the bad items that we unknowingly eat and cook with.

I love the idea of different videos of swaps you can make in different rooms! I try to be very healthy and I tend to be picky so this list was right you with what I do. But I enjoy listening! Also, I would love to know where that Mennonite community was that you got your bulk stuff from! Do you live in MO? We live in Southern MO. 😊

I am so confused about cast iron. I've always thought it was healthier but here lately I have been hearing they are finding it leaches too much iron and can cause health issues. Several Weston A Price speakers as well as many from the ancestral health sphere have been coming out these past few years telling people to ditch the cast iron. I have both cast iron and stainless but I don't like frying and such in stainless because it sticks and I just don't think it cooks as evenly. So I feel very torn with the issue . 🤔 Would love your thoughts if you have researched this.

Thank you for sharing these awesome tips! I’m a young married mama who is about one year into transitioning into a cleaner lifestyle. My baby boy has a severe dairy allergy, I’d love you to share your story about reversing your child’s allergy, I hate the thought of him not eating dairy his whole life!
