I like the French nails myself, it's always good taste 🙂 I went to the Dollar Tree, got a big cartload, I got some black paracord for the first time, in the past I've gotten pink but black was never in stock so that was cool. They did have rope in stock (Bangor). They'd just stocked it. Another thing I was really excited about was nacho cheese cans. This is canned nacho cheese about the size of soup cans. Not the small stuff. Awesome to have not just to eat but what if we can't get cheese?

I always enjoy your DT hauls. I live out in the country and have been getting extra items for the farm. Rope, chain, even went on and splurged for a new tractor implement while it was available. Getting a couple more propane tanks tomorrow and ordering some grow bags. I need to get what I can then just stay put. I'm seeing the crunch start.

Great Ideas on DT stuff! … I noticed more of my friends hitting DT and Family Dollar… BEFORE they hit Walmart. Not sure if everybody does this, but we do. I hate buying at Walmart and end up paying too much! Thanks for all the DT vids Jinne!!

Thanks, good information about what you found. The bowl covers are good, saves using plastic wrap or foil all the time to cover containers if we don't have matching lids and we keep hand washing them until they wear out. Our Dollar Tree was out of them for quite a while but back in stock. On some of the products like the nut mixes or similar snacks, be sure to check the back of the packets for the country of origin since some countries might not have safe foods or handling procedures but can still be sold here. Some might show a US company but that's often the distributor and not where they are grown and they are supposed to note country of origin which often is in small print. For example have seen some of the snack mixes at Dollar Tree say origin is PRC which means People's Republic of China. On the toothpaste and brushes, the holidays are coming and often groups here ask for donations hygiene products to put in gift boxes or stockings for seniors or the homeless.

Love the ice packs, they also carry cold packs for kids & they’re awesome too, I keep the cold packs in a zip lock in the freezer & use the reading glasses all the time. I need to pick up more glasses. And it’s a great idea to buy a higher strength

buckwheat makes for great diabetic food. it's very high in protein. also makes for very hardy plants that grow in cold or wet climates. the bees love buckwheat flowers also and the green part after harvest is good for chickens.

Going to look for the ice packs, we keep Gatoraid for winter when people get sick and we rinse and reuse all our water bottles, couldn't find the red beans except for 1 bag in 1 store, and I picked it up, I did find a full-sized loaf of Butternut bread for $1 great price compared to the grocery store, but no English muffins. Picking up Prairie Farms butter for $1.99 a pound limit 2 trying to fill my freezer.

My nearest DT store is so bare and what they do have is laying all over the floor. Very sad. Also, been trying to get more 5 gal buckets they are very slim picking. I bought the last 3 at Walmart yesterday, Atwood’s farm and home store was completely out.

Actually the mason lids are considered as part of prepping for various reasons: 1. Hygiene- will keep smells at bay if you make the air fresheners. 2. Entertainment- crafts will keep your sanity in check. Also will keep your kids busy and out of trouble while you work
