In the early nineties Pillsbury had a small pamphlet type cookbook. In it they had a recipe for a coffee cake. Whisk together eggs and brown sugar . Cut each biscuit into four pieces. Place them in a pie plate. Add apples and pecans. Then pour the egg and brown sugar mixture over the top. I can't remember how long to bake it. But anyway I'm sure the recipe has to be out there somewhere. I have made this for years and people just go crazy for it.

I pull each biscuit apart and slightly flatten. I pan fry them in 1/2 butter 1/2 oil for about 18 minutes in a medium heat skillet. I put a lid on them for the first 1/2 of frying. Sooo good.

Instead of taking out the grease add 2 tlbs flour and cook for two minutes add 1 c water and 1 c milk and simmer for a couple of minutes and you have your gravy for the casserole instead of buying packets of gravy mix.
