Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!! I soooooooo needed this. I was one of those people who got on Amazon Day and then it sat for 6 months cuz let’s be honest it came in a hhhuuugggeee box. Then my husband said if you don’t use it let’s just send it back. So I cracked it open, found a recipe online and tried it. Bombed! Did everything I was supposed to do, but wasn’t detail informed correctly on how to use the product. I read the manual, the testing process was confusing, but I managed. Then when it came to the 3 recipes I tried, they bombed to inedible. The third recipe I tried was for ribs and it was fairly straight forward. But I got gunshy and kept it in the box again for 2 more years. Just tried another recipe and it turned out wonderful. I followed a video and was successful. Your tips are soo helpful and now I understand the parts that confused me before. Also another confusion is, since they keep upgrading the pots (which is great) the videos about here get outdated based on the model. For me I need an exact to understand as a beginner how to work my pot. Yours is similar to mine so that’s why I find it helpful. Kudos to you!

I'm just not convinced that pressure cookers are safe. Yes, people have been using them for years, but they have been exploding for years. One also constantly hears about those pressurized espresso coffee pots (Kona?) exploding.

I am just learning how to use the Lux Mini and it has no manual button. I have worked around that with the 'slow cook' button for soup, but have not tried the soup/broth button yet. Experimenting is the thing! I laughed when you described having your husband try it first after it sitting in the box for a few months…I delayed using it too! These videos help, thanks!

Good instructions for this particular model , but please note we got a brand new duo for Xmas and the menu buttons have changed from this model! Our model has a pressure cook button on the top and does not even have a manual button!

Hi, thank you so much for this video. I would like to know if it possible to cook frozen chicken broth, then continue with couscous by exemple. And is it possible to cook frozen chicken breast from Costco. Last question, im not sure about the red seal, I just opened the box 😀
