That venison roast with vegetables looked fantastic. The bone broth with the meat juices together creating the dark sauce must have tasted amazing. I need to up my game.

Wow! Yummy! The only problem I have is the sound of your utensils on the metal bowls. Ugh, it's like fingernails on a chalk board. We cook with our instant pot outside so our RV won't get smelly and the moisture won't be released inside.

Yay food! I would love to see a video of how you handle washing dishes and washing clothing. And if you have done one already (I don't recall if you did) maybe an updated one?? Thanks! Love watching your videos. I am starting to save up so I can also live off grid and get my own land. You are are definitely an inspiration and a aspiration!

When Barron takes a bite of the vegan mac and cheese and says….I think it could use some cheese. LOL. That's funny. I laughed out loud for sure. I adore watching people cook off grid, it's so relaxing. Love doing it myself.

I have always loved your cooking videos! What happened to your Cook Book? You had mentioned in the past you were working on one. I would love to see what you feed Camp! I have struggled trying to figure out what to feed my dog that is not kibble and would love for you to share what you feed him I recall a video in the past where you explained what you fed him, but I cannot find that. Please share again. Thanks!

I’m so glad you guys got an instant pot! I was thinking what a great idea that would be for you. Don’t worry, forgetting to set the valve is your trial by fire when you own one, lol! Don’t forget to deglaze the bottom of your pot when you brown meat so that you don’t get a burn notice and shut down your pot. Just add some liquid and scrape scrape scrape with a spatula until you get all of the browned meat bits off the bottom. I recommend six sister stuff here on YouTube for great instant pot recipes, it’s how I learned. You can make mac & cheese or egg roll in a bowl which is delicious! Look that one up you’ll love it! BTW, quinoa takes one minute in the instant pot and it’s full of protein and antioxidants. Love you guys! 💛💫✨

Thanks for the insight on the off-grid use of instant pot versus slow cooker. I had wondered how it became a popular appliance for nomads/campers.

Yummmmm! I was raised on oatmeal for breakfast on school mornings. Even now, if I eat breakfast I prefer oatmeal. Your addition of dates reminded me of something my mom use to do. She would buy fresh dates, pit and dry them in a low oven. Then she would pop the dried dates in the blender until they became like heavy sugar looking substance. We would spoon one or two teaspoons of it on our oatmeal along with a little butter. But that was only for special occasions. Usually it was raisins and soy milk.
