The strawberry breakfast bars section makes me want to make a double batch and do two layers of strawberry, or maybe one strawberry and one blackberry or raspberry, and serve it in little squares with icecream. Maybe replacing the flour with almond or pecan meal if that'd work too, because they go really well together.

I was skipping the donuts when I realized you are making one I can eat – I eat grain free! THANK YOU so very much! I love to cook, really like listening to your voice, and totally get your funny-ness. Also, I am looking forward to actually eating the chia puddin'.

When I first saw the Cloud Eggs (I'd ne'er heard of them before) I was like, potato? Ha…I wish. I've never had the patience to make meringue…and I have to wear gloves when I handle raw eggs. (Yes, I have more issues than the National Geographic.) I really, really want to try the doughnuts, but have to run the recipe past my Type 1 hubby…no sense in making something he can't have (or I can just wait until he goes to a tech conference LOL!) Thank you for the awesome recipes! Your voice is really relaxing, and you are great at making cooking and baking approachable for the novices. <3

    For anybody interested:
It is possible to make the strawberry oatmeal bars without butter! My mother has issues processing fats, but I still wanted to bake something she could try too. I replaced the butter with 1/2 of a cup of Silk's Vanilla Soymilk, and it was absolutely delicious!

Thank you so much for this great recipe, Chef John. We're definitely going to be making this often!
