I honestly like some of these recipes yet I cannot for the life of me understand why smaller crock pots aren't used. Having food that only uses the bottom of the pot…. when I was taught to put food in that uses 3/4 th's of the crock pot.

Question: the salsa you used for the cilantro lime chicken – I could tell which brand it was, but which flavor was it? Iβm guessing medium but after looking at the jars Iβm wondering if it was mango or pineapple or something?

I love these recipes but I don't like using packets of stuff. I will if it's just too laborious to make on my own — (Ranch dressing powder is one of them), but taco seasoning is easy to make yourself. leave out the chemicals. Also, a lot of this can be done in a pot on the stove or in the oven with same or better results– to me, slow cookers overcook a lot of the time with basic chicken recipes.
