You did not rinse the rice to get the starch out.
You gotta try the rice button on IP. Rinse rice and use 1/1 ratio and just hit the rice button; it's my favorite button on it

That's funny, when you said 25 mins, I was thinking you really don't even need to put the sausage in yet since it's already cooked… Then you took it out and it was burnt… LOL I would suggest putting the sausage in about half way through.
