Just in case you don't see it up in the description: I didn't can my pizza sauce with flax. When I said I think I put too much flax in it, I meant AFTER I poured the sauce out of the jars. Thanks for watching!

In 23 years of running a household, I have never done any intentional meal-planning. We eat HCLF no oil vegan (with occasional exceptions), which, as you know, is very economical. We eat simple meals that are filling and nutritious (oats, potatoes, rice, beans, all kinds of vegetables). Knowing what basics to keep on hand makes it easy. At the last minute, I decided to do Three Rivers pantry challenge and we got through it EASILY. Honestly, I've never understood the meal planning struggle.

I'm not vegan, nor do I have any allergy to food, but I found your channel a few days ago watching Azure Standard videos, and have been enjoying your videos. ☺️

I totally relate to liking having a wide stock of ingredients and not sticking to a rigid meal plan(I just don’t have it in me) ! Really enjoying your vegan meals even though we re not vegan I try to add more and more veggies and seeing great vegan meals helps me do that!!

I go through stages where I make my own tahini. It's super easy to make. One of my favorite ways to use tahini is spread on a piece of Caraway bread topped with raw sauerkraut and onions. Actually it's good spread on any bread, including avocado toast with onions garlic and raw sauerkraut.

So interesting that you don't meal plan either. I prefer to make sure to have my favorite ingredients on hand and then I can throw them together as something new or an old favorite.
