My aunt does a brown sugar carrot. I don't know how..buy I'm gonna ask bc I always seem to have them and I don't want to waste them. For the potatoes that's a great idea! I use the Hot Dog Chili from Walmart. It's $0.74 & I add onions and cheese to ours. Even have used American if that's what we had. It melts perfect. Or eat it over hot dogs…we've even had these huge cans of maple baker beans from Walmart that are $1.94 for 28 ox..I added the beans a 1/4 cup of water.. little BBQ sauce..mustard and ketchup. Just a squirt of each and onions if u have it..w cut up hot dogs. Add brown sugar too. Bake on 350 for about 30 min to incorporate everything and it's delicious

Oh I have a cheap one! Heat a jar of salsa Verde with can black beans. Use leftover sweet potato, cube it and wrap it all in a tortilla with bean mix!

When I roast baby carrots, I add the olive oil to the bag of carrots and then squish them around to completely coat them before spreading them out on the sheet pan. Let me know what you think about that idea.

We have a local store that prepares homemade frozen meals. One of the meals they do is pizzaghetti. So they have pasta, sauce small pepperoni slices and of course mozzarella cheese. You could add chorizo sausage pieces as well or whatever else u might like then u bake it in the oven. It wouldn't be a 5 dollar dinner but ur husband might like it better. When I have purchased it my husband loved it but it would be very easy to make at home.

I have a question about the instapot. Am I the only one that struggles with the correct time? I guess I do not understand how to read the minute, seconds, hours part. I am embarrassed to say this.
