Thank you Janice for introducing so many nice food places. I definitely want to try out this Great Wall Tofu place. I grew up having the savoury tofu pudding for breakfast back in my hometown which we call Tofu Head豆腐脑, which I don't understand why😅. In my memory we had daylily vegetable黄花菜 in it. It was so yummy! I don't seem to be able to find the same type in Sydney but this Great Wall tofu store is definitely a place to check out. Thanks again~~

I believe savoury tofu pudding is a more Northern Chinese dish and sweet tofu pudding is more Southern. I spent part of my childhood in Central China and tofu pudding is a common breakfast streetfood. They sold both the sweet and savoury but as a kid I always had the sweet one!

You should also try Touka in Parramatta for yakiniku! It's a la carte and they also have set menus. The quality is really good – better than those buffet places and I find I end up paying around the same amount in the end.

Always love to watch your videos, great food. If you have time please visit my restaurant called Green Basil 🌿 in Campsie, a small restaurant but you’ll be surprised with the quality of the food. My recommendation Tom yum hotpot 🙂

Great video Janice! I have to ask… how is it that you don't weigh 200 pounds? Must be because you are young… and probably exercise… or your genetic code keeps you thin. You're a lucky girl!

The Japanese feast looks great but I can't stand time limits and being rushed when dining, so I've been put off trying a few different ones here. That place especially would have me taking an hour or two just to eat the sweetcorn with chopsticks, how is that possible? 🙂 That tofu pudding looks delicious, I wish we had a shop like that in SA.

I freakin love tofu pudding! We have something similar in the Philippines called taho and we add like a vanilla syrup to it and sago. Never had it with savoury, need to try.

Great place to go, although it is expensive, but it is worth every penny. The restaurant is on sale on certain days of the week (excluding weekends), as well as on your birthday. 😁

Many choice of side dish and meat for BBQ, must try Wagyu Fingers & fresh seafood. Also I recommend the lotus chips, the sticky rice cake with condensed milk too… 🤤 I really like the mini ice creams you get along with the buffet but the special desserts was not that great 😐

    Looks delicious!
A request if you have time. Sydney is about to lose a piece of food history. The iconic Marigold yum cha in Chinatown will close forever in a few weeks after decades of feeding Sydneysiders. Any chance of a visit before they do?

i've been here a few times, i'd say it's good but nothing amazing. the quality of the meat and service really varies and i feel like they rush you sometimes. that being said i love the vibe and location its a very convenient spot

Have heard mixed reviews of Kuro, glad to see some footage of it. Maybe you should pay the new Butcher's Buffet in Eastwood a visit – $30 weekday lunch AYCE (or $24 if you dress up and pretend to be a student 🤣).

The wagyu steak place looks amazing making me want to fly back to Sydney! The butter corn the restaurant had is what they corn cheese corn and they use mozzarella cheese instead in Canada

Nice wagyu beef. It makes me salivating. It is quite a good deal for all you can eat wagyu I think 🙂 and the tofu pudding first time i see the savoury style, with the chopped pickle, spring onion, looks like the topping seen on a traditional singaporean dish chui kue..
