Love the strawberry pretzel dessert, we’ve made it for years in my family. It is a must for any occasion. 2 things we do to save time and heartache about the jello mixture is we cut and then freeze our strawberries while the crust is cooking. Mix up the jello, using 1/2 cup less water, let that cool a little bit and pour over your partially frozen berries. It should be thicker and less chance of seeping into crust! Strawberry Pretzel is on our menu for Christmas. But the Ritz Carmel looks pretty good so I think I will have to try that for New Year’s Eve
Hi Catherine, I just got finished making the banana pudding and boy oh boy it brought back childhood memories. I made it with Lorna Dune shortbread cookies and I agree with you that these cookies stay firm and are more enjoyable to eat. The only thing bad about this recipe are the calories. I could sit there and eat the majority of this in one sitting. Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for taking the time to send delicious recipes.

These all look delicious! I use almost exactly the same banana pudding recipe, but I always use the chessman. I also put a little layer of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies first, then the bananas and then the rest of the mixture. My sister always wants me to make this, the cookies just takes it up another level!

And Catherine, I really love your wonderful recipes but I'm sad to say I hate tiramisu. 😐 I don't know why because I love coffee. But I don't want my coffee to be flavored and I don't want anything else to have a coffee flavor. I know it probably doesn't make sense but I'm Irish and you know how stubborn we are. ☺️
But something as simple as coffee flavored ice cream would never be consumed by me. 😏
But most everything else you make, I like. I think I've told you one other time that I didn't like something. Those are still pretty good odds. 😉
And you know I love your channel and 99% of your recipes. 😋 So I think we're still good. 😊

For an adult version, in the coffee mix my daughter adds half of the coffee and the other half made up of a mixture of Kahlua and Baileys Irish Cream which makes it really nice !!!!
I don't know if you're heading for a cold Christmas, but here in Western Australia 🇦🇺 where I live, we are forecast to have 106°F on Christmas day, some places here up to 125°F all I can say is thank goodness for air conditioning. have yourself and your family a very wonderful Christmas and a prosperous new year 🎄🎁🎅🏽🤗🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hey Catharine, I made the Caramel cracker dessert for Thanksgiving and it was so delicious.
I told several friends about it and they asked for it for Christmas. So I just finished whipping up 2, placed on nice Christmas plates and that is their gift. I can't wait to try the other recipe's. Always fun to watch your channel 😸
