We have tried several of tnese "bubble up" recipes and have never liked them because no matter how much we bake it the biscuit part that is not directly exposed to heat (not under all the other ingredients) always turns out slimy and we both have major issues with texture.

I know it's an extra step, but it is soooo worth it if you saute that ham in the instant pot before you add the other ingredients. Searing your protein will always give you so much better flavor. I know the ham is already cooked, but trust me. Browning makes it better!

I loved the video tonight. I especially love the outtakes you and Stephen do. You tease each other and laugh a lot. Makes me smile every time. The food looked great, too. Does pouring the sauce over the rolls make the rolls soggy?

I usually have Easter dinner at my house with all the family, but my husband and I have bad colds so thought better that if we skipped it here this year. 😥

I buy a big bag of cooked bacon from Sam's and keep it in the freezer for things like corn chowder (or your ham & potato chowder). It is really convenient when you just need a small amount, like for a baked potato, a BLT pizza, fried rice, broccoli salad, etc.

I can't remember the brand but it is the same one that makes Sazon packets. They make a ham bouillon in small packets. Wal-Mart used to sell it and then stopped and then I found it at the dollar store. I forget I have it every dang time I make a ham. Usually don't need it but for gravy with biscuits it is great!

Happy Easter to you and your family. ✝️
Cheese may make Gracie drool but that ham and potato chowder had me licking my lips. I also liked the bean soup.😊

I love ham, even as a kid I ate ham and cheese every day. I use leftover ham and Aldi Scalloped/AuGratin potatoes in the Instant Pot so yummy and quick. Can't wait to have it on Monday. Happy Easter.

I found a recipe a few years ago for leftover ham and bean soup like this one, that I made and modified, I cooked it half the day then overnight, when I was done I thought it was thick like stew but my sister said it made a great bean dip , I think it came from Pinterest, does that still exist??
