I recently stocked up on quite a few of the items you had in the grocery haul, kind of fun to see our grocery lists were similar. Pasta has been very hard to find for quite awhile here in the midwest. If you have the capability, stock up if you find it in stock. I love to keep a lot on hand in our food storage because it is a quick, easy meal component that can be a last minute idea if needed.

Put in a quart jar then add so much to a cup of water put in mico. Not exactly sure the measurements but i remember somebody doig it n saved alot. Have a nice day.

My grandsons are 6 and 8 have been dye free for years. We buy candy from Young Earth and also Trader Joe’s . We were able to find so many snacks without dye. It is really amazing how much dye is our food that doesn’t need to be.

I started reading labels a couple years ago and the more you educate yourself, the harder it is to ignore. Our food quality in America is sad compared to many other countries. Food dye is added to so many things and is completely unnecessary. It can be overwhelming at first but gets easer as time goes on. 😀

Tiffany, your not alone with being convicted about trying to change what you buy to eat. I just think the way they are messing with our food I'm about to give up on stores completely and just get my food straight from the farmers even if it costs more. The taste of meat lately is what has me about to go to my local butcher and the fruits and vegetables haven't been any better. I would rather pay a little more money and not throw any food out verses getting it at a cheaper price and throwing half of it out🤔. Even the milk hasn't been tasting right and it's been going bad days before the exportation date😭. I've had to throw out just opened milk😭.

I also have been watching ingredients in foods. High fructose corn syrup, dyes, and MSG are on my hit list. I also watch for lower or no sodium options; I can add salt when cooking if needed.

Interesting. The last two weeks our Walmart was out of all kinds of pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, noodles) but our Aldi's had all kinds of pasta. I like Aldi's better due to their prices and customer service. Our Walmart needs to improve their customer service as well as prices.

Everything looks so good! Love your grocery hauls and all your cooking! It helps me so much! I definitely need to read labels but honestly dont even know what im looking for.
What do you use the GV marinade on?? I actually have had it in my fridge for a long time but never used it yet. I was thinking it would be great on grilled chicken.

Tiffany, I think your a great mom! Six kids is not easy. Your patient, loving and very caring what you feed your kids. You don’t feed them junk. It’s not all glamour being with kids 24/7. Your children seem to be well mannered, love the Lord and you home school!? I hope you and your hubby still find time for each other. He works hard long hours. Your father -in-law is a gem! Stay well and great job as a parent!! 🌹🌹🌹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The scary part is when you read labels on things you don't think would have dyes. Also advise looking into dye free medicines if you haven't done so. Good luck with your health journey!

I wish they would sell just the banana flavor too. My kids only like the banana flavored one and I hate to buy the whole box just for that flavor. But my husband will eat the other flavors so it’s not wasted.💗😊

When I was in England the food was just so much better, even McDonald's. So much stuff the USA allows in food that other countries don't. I wish there were no lobbyists pouring money into politicians pockets.❤️

Good Morning. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. Isn’t it infuriating Tiffany you think you are making healthy choices for the kids and then look at the ingredients And the stuff they pump into the food is ridiculous. I’m an avid label reader now. It’s crazy what they can get away with to make something cheaper.
