I gather you are ebb expert in recipes and many other things, but, just for you to be advised and to humbly help you with this subject, TACO happens when food is wrapped by a tortilla.
TACO is NOT a recipe. Nor is a flavour.
Thank you very much for your time.
It may be delicious but it is a GUISADO.
    Never a TACO.

I doubled the recipe (if you do this use a huge pot or it will not all fit.) I used organic ground turkey instead of beef and all chicken broth instead of beef and chicken broth as my husband reacts to beef. I added a few tablespoons of olive oil when I browned the meat and onions. We garnished with crushed tortilla chips, cheese, sour cream and cilantro. Family liked it. Kids said it was outstanding. I am curious as to the flavor tomorrow after the flavors mesh. I just added to the leftover soup that is cooling on the stove 1 frozen cube of fresh squeezed lime juice to amp the flavor. Thanks again for the recipe.

Making this now. In your written ingredient list in the description box you do not mention “fire roasted” tomatoes but in your video you call the tomatoes fire roasted. You may consider updating the description box with fire roasted. I’ll be back to let you know how my family liked the recipe. Ty!

I am English and without doing a google have no idea what Taco is but it certainly looks hearty. To be honest I prefer soups to be more liquidy, this I would classify as a broth, that is the English Broth I think american broth is a little different.
It is also a favourite type of dish for me which seems to be just dump whatever you have in the pot and stir it around a little. I see tortilla soup is mentioned below. Same comments apply but I am sure I can get something (not sure about the fire roasted things) going and enjoying.

    Thank you.
