Rice comes out perfect every time. 2 cups jasmine rice, 2.5 cups water, couple pats butter, heaping tbs better than bouillon, salt. Cook high pressure for 3 minutes and natural release. Easy but so good for a quick side to your meal.

I got one for Christmas too, but I am very intimidated! Can someone explain to me how you natural release? I think I know you quick release by flipping the valve, but I guess I’m just not sure how you natural release? Thanks for answering my stupid question lol.

I love cooking macaroni and cheese, chicken, turkey breasts, lobster tails, and pot roast in my IP. I have not attempted spaghetti or baked potatoes but will give them a try thanks to your video.

I’m so glad you made this video! My IP sat in a closet for almost a year before I started using it.😜. Now I use it all the time! I cook rice, beans, boiled eggs, ribs, greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, Mac and cheese, and the list goes on! If you check out Six Sisters Stuff they have lots of recipes and tips about cooking with an IP.😊

I use my Instant Pot daily – for apple butter, baked beans and pot roast! My most requested recipe is for cheesecake. It only takes 35 minutes for a 6-inch cheesecake which is enough for 4-6 people. I’ll never use the oven again!

Oh, my gosh. I figured I was the only one that used left over hamburger and hot dog buns for garlic bread.😂. Love mine. We downsized to a Rv a couple of years ago and I am loving using my insta pot.

Thank you! I have been intimated with mine as well. I have cooked a roast which my hubby said was the most tender roast he had ever ate. And this week I did pinto beans I was shocked how quick and good. Looking forward to more ideas. I definitely love my crockpot and the air fryer is my go to, don't know how I lived without this baby. Thanks again Looking forward to using my instant pot with you.

I never used an instapot. Still have my handy dandy crockpot that my grandmother bought me for my hope chest when I left home, ie A Long Time!😁😉 Have fun with your new appliance. Everything looked yummy! 😊

I love doing soft to hard boiled eggs. Only takes 2 min on high pressure for soft or three for hard. Quick release and put them in ice water for about 5 min. Shells practically fall off when cracked. Then you have easy deviled eggs.

    Chili Verde is great.

Ham hock and beans with dry beans is amazing. 3-4x water as beans, hock, onion, bay leaf. Takes about 45-50 min on high pressure.
