Thank you so much! No more diaper days in my house but maybe in the future (my children) This is a fabulous idea – thank you for sharing! The meals – I love making freezer meals!

So you only get one diaper for 5o dollars?
It's a cute concept and I understand they sponsored you and that's great, but I think ordering a cloth diaper from Etsy from a work at home mom and personalize it would be even better because the diaper wouldn't have to be thrown away and it would probably even be cheaper.
I do love the concept though.

When I make my mac and cheese in the pressure cooker, I too use cream cheese in the recipe. I suggest cutting the cream cheese into blocks (not too small or big). This way it melts fast and only requires me to stir constantly for about 2 minutes.

I keep getting the "Burn" warning on a few of your IP recipes and I'm not sure why. It happened for both the noodle one and the beef stew recipe from this video. One time when I made the chicken rice bowl recipe it actually burned the bottom of the pot. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It doesn't happen every time. And I do love your recipes. They're so yummy. I just wonder what's wrong. I made all three of the recipes for dinner but didn't actually freeze then defrost them. Also I added some water to the beef stew one. Almost a cans worth of water. What am I doing wrong. I hit pressure cook on high. But then the burn warning came on. So I changed it to low instead of high.

These meals look so delicious!! I just got an instant pot for Christmas but mine is the 8 quart one. I know the manual says to have at least 18oz of liquid to allow to pressurize. If I make your meals what kind of changes would I need to make?

I used my instant pot today for the first time and made penne pasta with ground beef and spaghetti sauce. It turned out pretty good except it stuck a little so I went on line and ordered the ceramic non stick insert. I notice your food doesn’t stick…..did I do something wrong like maybe a cup of water wasn’t enough

really fantastic gift ideas!! If you're making the freezer meal to be put into the instant pot, some people have frozen their meals in the ziplock while it's still in the measuring cup (make sure it's plastic or can be frozen). This way it can easily plop into the IP. 🙂

Just cook the meals, cool and freeze…. then she doesn’t have to worry whether the meal is or isn’t cooked and the difference it will take to BE ready to eat. Wouldn’t that be a more considerate gift?

Those diapers are a nice gift, and especially the food which you provided for your sister and I know she will appreciate all of that from her sister. I want to wish you, and your family a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

My daughter just had her second baby and since she had just about everything they needed for the new baby instead of a gift we made freezer meals. My other daughter came over and we ended up making her 18 dinners with many meals having leftovers, and several breakfast meals as well. It was a good thing we made them when we did because she had her sweet baby the next weekend, he came early but perfect! It was such a good feeling to have made so many dinners for them and they appreciated them so much!

Kristen,. I had 4 boys. They all had a boy and then a girl, so I had to wait a lot of years for girls in the family. When my oldest son had his girl she was the first one in my husband's family for 69 years and the first one in mine for 37 years. I guess you always hope for what you don't have, but boy or girl, they are all precious gifts.
