I can’t find the actual recipe for how much liquid is used
Love, love, love it! do7.pl/Power I’m new to this style of cooking and found I can do about anything with this one pot. If you don’t have one, get one!
My pressure cooker won't let me heat it up
with the lid off. Any suggestions?
This pressure cooker is gold.>>>ur2.pl/1035 We use it for everything in the kitchen, full meals, side dishes, soup, and is the only way we cook rice now. Its perfect for canning small batches of stuff, and you can set it and walk away.
What is the difference between the XL units and the tristar units?
Thank you for the demonstration. Helped a lot!
I've had my Power Presser Cooker XL for about a year I cook with it all the time. I should have gotten one years ago. I'm going to try this Pot Roast this weekend. I've never cooked beef in it before. I usually cook chicken in it.
Did it cook on meat
Really??? where is the recipe? how much broth? how much tomato paste? I have this pressure cooker, and I like it,but this was not helpfull AT ALL!
Thank you for a great video. I will make this meal on Tuesday. Happy 4th!!!!!
I have the 8qt model and have tried to cook a pot roast just like this. We end up having to cook it for almost an hour to get it semi tender. I don't know what we are doing wrong.
This is just the power cookers recipe
How much longer is I add a medium head of cabbage
lots of pot roast info is there a good beef noodle soup recipe ?
Nice video, however, I would have liked it if you would actually show the finished product. Cut into the meat and show it's tender, cut into the potatoes to show they are done. This shows you cooking it, but doesn't show that it actually worked. Also, would it make it more tender if you let the steam release slowly as opposed to immediately after it goes off? Thanks.
This looks super. Going to try it tonight!
I need a really good recipe for pot roast and baked beans.
Came for a recipe, not a commercial for a pressure cooker. Not watching.
I try it and it took 1hour and 45mins and it was done and my red potatoes was done and car try's it was real good
mmm dinner for kids I'm a do season salt for mine f DAT reg salt lol
EXCELLENT PRESENTATION!!! Very informative and I love how you step-by-step show the cooker and what to do; If you have more demos I'd appreciate you forwarding to me!! HAVE A GREAT AND SAFE WEEKEND!! THANKS…
Yikes! metal utensils.
I love this pressure cooker
Looks good, but without you cutting or tearing the meat, we can't tell.
This is an awesome video. Thanks so much.I have used a slow cooker for years and currently I don't have one but after seeing this video I am going to buy a pressure cooker.
Our family likes beef roast fall apart tender. How long does it need to cook for it to be that tender?
Finally an invention worth having greatest idea ever
Pot roast looks really good I love this recipe. However I have a question why when setting the pressure cooker did you click the button for chicken? is it a different temperature or different cooking time just wondering thank you
Lynn, Where did you get those salt and pepper shakers
what quart size is your pressure cooker? 6, 8 or 10
Lynn your roast looks delicious I love pressure cooking.
The only comment l would make is to do a slow release rather than the quick one.
A quick release will tend to dry out and toughen the meat rather than leaving it moist and tender.
Hi Lynn, Great demo, I have used electric pressure cookers for years and love them. Glad to see you got the Kuhn Ricon grinders. I love them too. 🙂
Thanks and thumbs up, Lynn! 🙂 Hope you have a great Memorial Day, Norfolk Joe
Love pressure cookers(mind you I stopped using my circa 1979 presto one cause its aluminum) maybe time to get back into it! Have a great Day Lynn-Dave
Lynn, what a delicious and complete meal you have done! Your pressure cooker works great. This would be so fantastic for me and my big family. I love making dinners or lunches in my pressure cooker because it´s so easy to put together and cook quickly. But the mine one is a little bit old.
Have a great sunday,
Love,
Patricia.
Lynn what a great video! !thanks for the step by step demo. It was great. I love pot roast now all I need is a pressure cooker. Lol have a great weekend
Your presentation of the pot roast is really lovely. My mom bought me a breville electric pressure cooker that doubles as a slow cooker. It's considerably smaller in capacity than the XL, that u have. I wish mine was larger, but it does suit the three of us at home. I'm really happy that you did a demonstration video for pressure pot roast. I don't have many recipes for my appliance. I never would of put the veggies under the meat, but now I see it makes sense. The potatoes didn't seem mushy. We don't have beef cuts called chuck here. I think that's a boneless blade roast. I'll have to google it. I hope you demonstrate more recipes using your XL. I hope your weekend is grand! ~ Julia
Looks great Lynn,,,,,,,Iam scared of pressure cookers,,,,,,,,,I must find another method of cooking this,Thank you for sharing, you have me cooking coconut jasmine rice all the time,
Hi Lady Lynn. I love my electric pressure cookers. I have two sizes. Pot Roast is one of my all time favorite meals. I make mine in my pressure cooker too. So tender and I can brown my meat and cook it all in one pot in less that 45 minutes. Everyone should have one of these in their kitchen. 🙂
Those pressure cookers are pretty neat! I've been thinking about getting one.
Another favorite dish of mine: POT ROAST!!!!! =D <3 Thanks for posting this, Lynn!
