I just wanted to say I admire you for putting yourself out there. You said something that makes me think you had gotten some criticism and I'll say those people don't know what it's like to really live on a tight budget. I like the fact that you buy things you think you can use, then make it work. I had family members who lived through the Depression era and their philosophy was "Use it up, wear it out, make do, or do without." Your meal plans are the epitome of "make do." Keep it up!

What is up with people getting mad over the ingredients (American cheese) you use?! Insane! I appreciate you doing these videos! Love your channel. Please keep sharing! 🙂

I like these budget meals. I'm always looking for new ideas. You can use a banana mashed and add 2 eggs. Makes pancakes. I started this when I went gluten free and didn't use flour. But I did see a good recipe for you about stretching eggs. I will list below.

I enjoy watching your budget meals. I am curious to see you try making more meals of American style food. Everyone does rice/beans/tortillas, let's try something different.
    Soups, casseroles, salads etc?
I have seen large bags of chicken leg quarters for under $1 a lb, ( maybe more now ) but you can do pulled chicken, chicken & dumplings, chicken salad, bone broth…tons of options.
Just an idea for different meals.
Thanks again, love your channel ❤️❤️

Just so you know. Ghee is clarified butter, milk solids removed. It doesn't expire. It last on your shelf for a very long time, years. Of course use you techniques after long storage. Smell, look little taste.

Thanks for doing these types of videos 😊 They've helped my family out a lot! It's crazy how much food prices have risen. The pasta looked delicious! It all did!

    Great job!
Yourr beans and rice looks so good girl!!
Also, western egg sandwiches or stuffed French toast would've been a great way to use up the last of the ham and or for lunch variety.
    We enjoy sandwiches here, too.
That pasta though!!! Trying that soon. Love that it can made with pantry staples.
Perfect meatless Monday meal. I can envision it with fresh fettuccine pasta or bowties too. The enchiladas and Other one that is too hard to say are on my bucket list now.
Bless you and your sweet family.
    You crack me up.
    Hugs

I think you were smart to try out the egg experiment before you really had to. I'll bet there will be a lot of people who will have a VERY hard time when food gets scarce, simply because they haven't had to cook and eat really cheaply in the past. I've been stocking up on things I know I like and won't mind eating (rice, spam, dried peas and lentils, nuts, powdered milk, dried fruit, and other staples), plus plenty of seasonings to doctor them up. I know beans are cheap, and I've bought a few bags, but they're not my favorite. I think you've inspired me to find ways to cook them before things get bad. Thanks for the videos!

Brooke, don’t worry about those saying they would do this, or you shouldn’t use that. Those are the ones looking for their 7.00 plant based cheese while being hungry and your family will be sitting at the table getting their belly filled. Not everyone has to make home made bread. When all those people start their own channel let me know, they have zero control over their life so they are trying to control something

Howdy! Another awesome video I think my favorite thing you made would be the enchiladas 😋. Sadly a major chicken farm caught fire in Minnesota so that will probably affect the price of eggs. 😥
On a good note I'm so glad you channel showed up in my feed. I really do enjoy your vlogs. 😉💕

We need to come up with another name for the enfrijoladas. Maybe you can just call them Nice Lady Beans since a nice lady gave you the recipe. Lol. I make a casserole called Aunt Donna Mae’s Casserole but no one has a Aunt Donna Mae or knows who this woman may be, so we have no idea who came up with it. And Aunt Donna Mae’s Casserole doesn’t tell you jack about what’s in it. At least Nice Lady Beans gives you a clue! 🤣🤣🤣
