When was this? Our Walmart prices are much higher then yours, EXCEPT eggs. It makes no sense. I noticed the online Walmart shopping prices were much less then in store prices. But our eggs are $1.68 per dozen. Aldi is $1.50 dozen so idk

Eggs are crazy right now due to the shortage of chickens. January 27th my Walmart had 18 count Great Value large eggs for $4.32. They are currently $5.84 for the 18 count. HOLY MOLY!! And I see your prices in Utah are way worse! We opted for 24 count large eggs at Costco yesterday for $4.99.

Julia, I have a question for you? Could these be made into frozen/portion meals as well? I think I would like a lot of the meals you make, as I like a wide variety of foods. But, unfortunately my husband is a picky eater.

You have the best recipes. Thanks for the money saving tips. I am really enjoying your cookbook and your no bake pie has made my day. I'm diabetic so I use a bought nut crust and just shave dark chocolate over the top, but that filling with no extra sugar is the bomb.

Julia, I love how you show how families can eat healthy, nutritious dinners on an extreme budget. Checking "per unit" pricing is a real budget booster, also cross-checking between fresh and frozen foods for the best deal as well. Great shopping tips for staying in budget.

I'm in NJ. Eggs at my Walmart are cheap! $1.47 for a dozen large eggs, $2.17 for 18 large eggs. That's for the store brand. Even Eggland's Best Cage Free Large Brown eggs are $3.56 a dozen.

These look yummy! I will definitely make French bread pizzas 🍕 I’ve been saving a lot by buying dried beans and cooking them in my instapot 👍🏻 1 cup of dry beans is = to 3 cups of cooked beans. I also have been making a few meatless meals and soups that can be eaten for multiple meals 👍🏻💕

I will try everything but the Ramen. I do not like those kind of noodles. I can try it with regular noodles. My husband loves Ramen noodles. My husband does our grocery shopping. And I don’t think he knows what a budget is. I love crescent rolls. So I know I will try that one. No cheese in that one. I might have to add some on top. I will definitely be trying the Alfredo sauce and pasta. Well, I’m getting hungry again. Everything you are sharing today looks so good. We were going to try a New Mexican restaurant that finally opened near us. But we got there late and it was crowded, and I was hungry, as usual. So we came home and I cooked dinner. My husband said he didn’t like the atmosphere. So we’re not trying it now. I live in Georgia where Vidalia onions are grown. They are good. I have never made lentils. But I’m going to try them.
