    Liver is not new.
I am 67 and I was presented with liver as a child. My parents were not the type to force us. But most kids do not take to liver right off the bat. We were told, just one bite and you can be done. I've heard it takes about 13 tries before developing a 'taste' for something. Might be more for liver. Can't remember exactly, but I do know, by my teenage years I readily ate a plate full of liver and onions with gravy over mashed potatoes.
I think we got it once or twice a month because it was good for us.
Once married, in never cooked liver because my husband would not even come inside if liver was cooking! I lost my taste for it to some extent.
I think grinding it into hamburger is brilliant.

it's kind of strange how it's usually eating unhealthy foods that're high in refined sugar that brings people to carnivore diets. I personally never liked or ate these sweets in my life as I feel starch + sugar makes the worst dessert – as that's a concoction to send your sugars really high without nourishment to lower it. Turns out I was right. I mean when you damage your body that badly I bet only meats can help out in some cases, but I do believe if you don't damage your body with these dangerous substances (as cane sugar isn't vegan as an industry – so the product isn't either) – then I don't see why you can't be vegan. What's wrong with being vegan but avoiding the lethal starch + sugar combo?

I'm sorry but she looks very unhealthy (bags under eyes, crepey/thin skin, significant hair loss/thinning). I'm pretty sure her thyroid is not very happy considering how long she's been doing the diet. Please don't tell me she looks great for her age because it's not true or your idea of what a person in their 50s should look like is distorted. My mother is 78 and, even though I realize there are certain genetic predispositions and differences, she still has great porcelain healthy looking skin with almost no wrinkles. She's thin and in great shape because she's never been overeating and ate simple foods, mostly local and mostly carbohydrates. I think high protein diets age people even though I'm pro meat and it's on my plate every day. I know there are hundreds of stories where people heal on the carnivore diet but it's not a permanent fix and does not heal the root cause of the disease (once you reintroduce carbs your symptoms are back). And if you think carbs are the culprit, you should watch lectures by Dr. Christ Knobbe. Don't quit on carbs for too long, if you're a woman, it will eventually destroy your hormones, thyroid in particular.

Yes, happens to me too if I eat too much, I try to have a couple of tablespoons at a meal or now doing me best to get most of my fat from tallow and lard. Go slow, could have been a histamine reaction. Check out Keto Stephanie channel for information on symptoms of the carnivore diet you may experience
