Great Review! Thank you!
Works great. Have cooked many things and the temperature MyBest.Kitchen and timing options are so easy to use. Safety features worked great. We tried a stew type of dish, but had it at too high a setting. It set off an alarm as it started to burn, and we were able to save our dinner. Really like this appliance. Great addition to our kitchen.
I have the 6.5 qt and it doesn’t have a basket, it has a plate. Anyone know how you use that?
Excellent video, thank you for sharing. Now very hungry!
I'm just disappointed it doesn't have the temperature probe. That Preset feature is a winner for me : stops cooking automatically when the right temperature is reached. I guess I'll wait for that to come in before purchasing this.
Awesome, so glad you checked it at half time!!! Doing this tonight!!
Thanks!
Gosh you give the best reviews👍 I have one concern though and hoping you can give me your thoughts on it. With this newest model with one multi lid when pressure cooking do you think all that moisture would possibly cause damage to the heating coils now that they are exposed with type of cooking? Thank you
Hi, thank you for the video,…I have just buy this ninja and I have question, why I can not open the lid at steam & crisp fonction like you demonstrate? thank you!
I appreciate your video! I just got mine last month. I am making pork chile Verde in the pressure cooker. I know it will be amazing!
Your chickens are huge what the heck do you guys feed them over there 🤣🤣
Please demo how to get the silicone ring back in its rightful place! I am having a tough time with it!!
I just ordered one tonight and liked your video! Can’t wait to try it, good recipe, I’d definitely like to see more
One lid to rule ALL! 😶
Interesting very interesting
I just won this Ninja and wanted to see a quick video on it. As a fellow YouTuber with a cooking channel I wanted to take the time to tell you that you made a very good video. Lots of details and very easy and interesting to watch. Thanks and Happy New Year.
Jeremy, would you make a video on sous vide in the Foodi? Could one sous vide cook, then sear a steak from below and broil from above at the same time? (As in, heat up the pot with sear/sauté and then switch to broil but the pot is still hot below.)
I'm so glad to learn from you! You have such a nice calm techy approach. I learned how to use my original Foodi from you (Shark Ninja lags in the tutorial area).
On unboxing my 8 qt XL, I'm already appreciating that the pressure release valve stays put (I don't know how many times I dropped that on my feet when I cleaned the pressure lid, it's heavy!). And of course I'm stoked only to have one lid, and to try out all the features. I have missed the yogurt function from my old Instant Pot, and can't wait to try sous vide and dehydrate, and the bread proof and steam bake for bread is exciting.
I hope this pot resists chipping better than the original did, that was not cool – I am iffy enough on a nonstick surface, but when it's chipping, those flakes go into our food.
I wondering if I should get this one. I got the foodi DZ201 for Christmas but I'm wondering if it worth it for the OL501 and if it does rice? I've never owned one before.
wow so I fell in love with this review. Would love to see more recipes from you, especially healthy ones
Is the seal knob supposed to be loose?
I got thr 2021 17 in 1 cooker. I cant put back the silicone ring again.
Has anyone used ninja steam crisp to cook half ham? Can find a recipe. The ninja book gives temp and time for spiral ham. I have a half ham with bone and wondering if steam crisp would work for ham.
That second rack nests into the other rack nice and snug, it doesn't sit on top.
Another great demo.. Thanks Jezza.. Can you imagine what these will be able to do in 2025
I wish they can make a clear screen so I can see the food as it cooks. 😊
Does it preheat on it's own because the other one doesn't preheat by itself then beeps when it's done. You have to add extra time then put the food in.
We just got ours last week and the first thing we cooked was chicken. It was pressure cooked for 20 minutes then air fried for 25 minutes. It was the nicest juiciest chicken we’ve ever eaten, I always said slow cooking was the best way to cook a chicken but I’m not so sure now. Really enjoyed your video 🤤
Many thanks. Just ordered one of these for the wife. The single lid was a key issue for me. Is yours still going strong?
Succulent and easy on teeth 😂
Bough one here in the UK yesterday… little annoyed that the Sous Vide function is missing on our ones over here… Grrr
Well you sold me. On my way to order this. Great video!
14:40 look at that engine going. And all that steam splashed around non stop. I think just doing pressure cooking and air frying is still better way to go. I don't know what steam and crisp is supposed to achieve really. If the food is not that different, then I would prefer to more silent and less mess setting and equipment.
Ninja used to be junk but they have turned it around and now leading the kitchen appliances market, got to give them credit. Since they are linked I'm guessing Shark will soon lead the robot vacumm market, 1 or 2 more models.
For 3£ I can eat a whole chicken by myself every freaking day. Don't need rice or other stuff to fill me anymore.
How long did the preheating take?
Been looking at a Foodi and found your vid. I could listen to you talk all day. Solid video and helped me make a decision! Thanks J-Hill!
The whole chicken is cheaper because it has so much inferior white meat that you dont have to eat on wings… 🙂 #darkmeatFTW
Hello Jeremy just seen ur video an that steam an crisp is awesome looking an hope to see many more videos from you love my ninja products an really want the new pressure cooker I've try to do the steam an crisp with my older version an it did ok but not as nice as ur thxs again 😉
Love your video's
yes ,cooking in a plastic bag is "great",when the normal world has banned all plastic..
Nice job! Great instruction!
I have the old foodi, the the two lid thing is annoying, but I don't need another kitchen gadget, I don't have room for all of these things, I use to make fun of my mom for having a electric carving knife, now I'm turning into her.
