Did your town or city ever make a collection of local people adding favorite recipes? Mine did. I must say I have a nice collection . I don't have many to cook for these days, but I love to cook .     Love the vintage recipes, they were simple but delicious! Maybe it was the chilli powder? Had more of a tropical flair in a way very different dish w the pineapple/honey.
