PLEASE NOTE: I knew this video was going to get some pushback, but I wanted to film it as a way to show you how to create healthy meals with just a few staple items. I DO NOT recommend that you run to the store and buy 15 of each thing. There is no need to overbuy right now, there is plenty of food for all of us. What I will say is this: having a stocked pantry can really come in hand if you (or someone in your family) gets stuck at home. If you (or someone in your family) can't go out. So I would encourage you to have 2 – 3 of each of these items and NOT MORE.

If you can't go out and are low on food, please reach out to a neighbor or friend. I'm sure there is someone in your community who would be willing to pick up some food for you. And if you know someone who can't leave their house right now, REACH OUT. Ask them what they need and see if you can pick stuff up for them.

We need to be in this together! We need to help each other and support each other the best we can ❤️

How do you store these things ? In the package or (glass) jars ? I have bought rolled oats a few weeks ago and kept some in a plastic container, in the kitchen, and its tasting a bit odd. It isn't as crunchy as it used to be.

To the people who are complaining that this is a "manual for hoarders." Just no. Get out of town and shut the front door. The "manual for hoarders" has been out for YEARS. Thousands of prepper and food storage channels and website exist and have been teaching this for years. Zip your lip and sit down. You're being ridiculous and it's embarrassing to watch.

Please report Goatis, his entire channel is of his reviewing of other vegan youtubers and basically calling them idiots the entire time. He has a video about you. I tried to report him but it won't let me because the video isn't about me.

I don't the issue with this video. She clearly said she always has these things and honestly most plant based or vegan people do too. People are upset because other people are buying what they need before they go and buy it up themselves. This video is not encouraging anyone to run out to the store and buy everything. If anything its forcing you to think before you act. Think about what you need, what you can afford and how long it will last. We are plant based and have lots of food allergies so food choices can be limited but I'm not going to be in the grocery store angry because I saw someone grab the last carton of soy milk b4 I could. People are out here acting like only sick people need to eat. Acting like they know what other households need and don't need. Trippin

No matter who says what, do not take this video down. This was incredibly helpful and does not come across like you are encouraging panic buying. Informing people of healthy long lasting things to pick up (if they can) is, really helpful. Thank you for this list.

I agree that this helps to focus on what to buy for the healthy eater and not just pile stuff in a cart that may not be used. I buy fresh produce and make my own meals to freeze. Produce in my area is plentiful. Most people want packaged or ready-made frozen food. I live in the Southwest so tortillas are a main staple. Apples last awhile. I use roasted diced tomatoes for homemade salsa. With a few beans and greens I can make a yummy quesadilla!

I understand that you made the video, if it is requested. But this only encourages people to buy in bulk times 10! Here in Belgium stores are empty, because the employees can't keep up with restocking the shelves. People are buying 20 packs of toiletpaper, flour, pasta and canned foods. The stores keep reassuring us that there is more than enough, but people are panicking and they don't listen.

I wish people would learn to buy just for a week, it’s hard to find good food if the shelf’s are empty. This panic buying and hoarding is horrible and sooo selfish!
