I bought two books . One on 100 calorie portions and one in intermittent fasting. I started January 1 2022 and went from 208 to 187 . I eat from 10am – 6 pm and I eat dinner food for breakfast . Breakfast food at lunch and a huge salad with roasted chicken, tuna or salmon is my dinner. From 6 pm – 10 pm nothing but water . Any desert gets eaten after lunch . I love that I learned portion control and that I got rid of my cravings for chocolate and salt.

Last year a friend and I foraged apples from one tree and I canned many, many jars of cubed apples, applesauce, and apple juice, all for free. Just knock on doors and ask permission!

I am always checking ads for the equivalent of $2/gallon milk like your Albertsons ad. I NEVER pay retail. I freeze what I get. Going into Great Lent last (no dairy amongst other for 2 months) I had 3.5 gallons of frozen milk that is perfectly OK.

I don’t know why you think you have to open both doors on a French doors, it’s like Jill said organize it and you get what you need from one side, I don’t open both doors . I would never go back to a side by side they are narrow and hard to get large bowls or tray don’t fit.

Now I'm getting scared. My new Whirlpool stove is being delivered May 2 2023. Ordered from Costco. I really hope I don't have the same kind of problem. I've always had Whirlpool in the past and currently and never had a problem with them in the past and it's my fault that I need a new stove. My fingers are crossed that all goes well. I pray you get your horrible service and refrigerator problems resolved.

Your grandfather could of asked you for some of your garden but he didn’t. You mentioned that he had help you to start your garden it was a small price to pay for his help. You are a great example of a Christian and your channel has also helped me. I really enjoy Jill and Mike also.

I recently retired from an elementary school in central Illinois that had about 30% Amish students. When I first started I noticed that those students would bring a sandwich with one slice of bread and one slice of lunch to their lunch meat and when I got to thinking about it it was a way for their mothers to make a loaf of last longer! Most amish have large families and if they would give each child two slices for each sandwich, the entire loaf would be wiped out just for their lunchboxes!! Smart tip!
