I have a phobia of running out of items. I always keep at least 1 extra of most things in a separate cupboard. Once I take the last one out for use I need to immediately replace it. It does usually work out because I can buy a few when they are on sale instead of having to pay full price because I am out of an item.

Just a word of warning, not all jars are freezer safe. I freeze my homemade applesauce in small jars every year. I always use freezer safe jars and have not had a problem with them. Great ideas! Thank you

The keeping listing wahat you finish for your shopping list is so helpfull- I do that too; my favorite as well…my fridge is small, so I keep my greens in galss jars, like if they were flowers, with just a bit of water in the bottom. They last up to 6 to 7 days, if you place them in the window and its not too hot outside…migth help others with smaller fridges like in The Netherlands

    Thank you for sharing!
I food prep some days in the week. I make things like mushrooms, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, green beans, eggplant, edamame beans, broccoli carrots, and so on and have ready in my fridge for easy to put together meals.
The sweet potatoes are really good both with savory dishes and to top my yogurt with with some cinnamon on it. I use mostly coconut yogurt, any will do 😋

Thanks again, love from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
