Pasta is an excellent ingredient to pack along for any trip. Which shape is the best? How can you change up the flavor so it’s not …
So many delicious ideas!! Thanks 👌
Yummy!!
Buongiorno chef Corso! Your surname seems to be Italian))) but I'm not sure!
So greetings from Brescia, Lombardia.
Spaghetti, vermicelli and fusilli are my favorite.
Pasta al pomodoro (ciliegino =cherry) is great.
I've always enjoyed sauteing up some veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, etc.) and adding a bit of pre-made pesto & some parm shavings. Don't even need to do a separate boil/drain. Just add a little water, simmer, & the pasta will hydrate on its own with just enough water to keep the pesto as a sauce. But that was with a camp skillet so not sure how it'll work on the tall camp stove pots
Oh, the chili Mac content reminds me of so many melted tent moments in the army
Oh and sorry for two comments. One suggestion I can make to add that's easy to make on the trail is the garlic and oil spaghetti (aglio e olio). Just garlic, oil, parsley, parmesan, little lemon and some red flakes with the boiled spaghetti. I know some people don't have two pots, but I do and it's very easy to make
Yes! I like prepackaged tortellini that has the cheese in it and some pesto sauce. Add some basil leaves, and some of the packages of parmesan and red crushed chili flakes you get from the pizza shop. All you do is boil the tortellini, drain and add the sauce at the end. Easy and filling when backpacking. If you have some bread, you can dip the bread in the sauce when done. One of my favorites. Chicken noodle is a great suggestion, but I just carry the canned ones. I'm too lazy when on the trail after hiking all day
Woow, amazing & awesome PASTA's recipe, absolutely delicious & thanks for sharing n hope to get more connections!😋😋😍🥰👍👍👌perfecto@!!gracias/sukria/sukran/salamatpok/terimakasih!!@
About to head out on a backpacking trip and going to make some Cacio e Pepe. Very excited and surprised it wasn't on this list. Maybe you can do one soon and we can compare notes!
Love your vids as they are inspiring me to plan some hikes with good grub! Odd question…what kind of boots are you wearing? They look like a comfortable.
Awesome! I kind of like Angel Hair, and a 3 oz. container of Kraft Parmesan Cheese makes a perfect container to keep it from breaking.
5:21 oh yeah it's amazing, there must be 100s of different pastas, and after wheat, geometry is the core integrant! how elegant is that?
Thanks for the content Chef Corso. Pretty stoked on trying some of your recipes on the trails this year.
Good stuff! Btw…Why are you always squatting? 🤔😜😂
