I also get goat milk at TJ's. I think Summerville is brand ( I think say humanely treated) …not sure about the pasturization.I think it it is more digestible and goat milk is supposed to be naturally homogenized.

How interesting… watching this from New Zealand… did currency calculations and worked our that you're paying twice as much for butter as we are, but we pay three times more for our own honey than you do!! How bizarre! 🤔 love your vlog Mary! ❤

I really enjoyed that one! I went to Trader Joe's for the first time in over two years a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by the deals. Something that I thought was really cool was the box of shelf stable whipped cream. I generally whip my own from fresh, but this one I can keep in my pantry for a year. When I am ready to use it, I refrigerate it for 6 hours and then whip. I added vanilla and a smidge of coconut sugar. It was good and stayed good in my fridge (already whipped) for 2 days. I think it was $1.69. I had never seen anything like and I thought it was steal. Also, their organic dark chocolate chips are wonderful! Thank you again for everything you do. You are always so encouraging and your tips are both helpful and educational. 🙂

I just bought some of the reduced sugar strawberry jam. It is absolutely delicious. In fact, my husband (who doesn't like reduced sugar anything) loves it! WIN! So good on homemade bread. 🙂

This is so great to see you so healthy looking (and sounding). Your voice was a little rough after you were sick, but clearly you have healed. 🙂 May God bless you for all that you do to take care of all of us. 🙂

Love Trader Joe's, but I must admit, I kind of avoid it because while it is not particularly expensive, I always walk out having spent more than I should have, because they have so many neat things to try! ( I also found that they usually have good prices on canned tuna, marinated artichokes and capers)

Greetings Mary, on my extended storage list is “pasteurized whole milk,” I was at a Walmart Supercenter when my eyes opened wide looking at a whole case of non-refrigerated pasteurized whole milk. I put it in the cart thinking as if I just found gold yea! But, once I reached home it dawned on me that it has an expiration date. Before I return the milk my question is, can milk be Water Canned for storage purposes? Mary, I want once again express gratitude for who you are as a person, thank you! Blessings!

I've enjoyed your tour of TJ. I have to go out of town to the nearest one. My daughter takes me and is waiting in the car for me to get done, so i feel like i have to rush. So i don't get to look at everything i want.

The milk type everyone should be drinking is the A2/A2 type of milk, cheese, and yogurt, it does not cause stomach inflammation. Your term “multiple streams of food” really resonated with me. My goals are to feed my family healthy food and to be prepared for emergencies, not to be homemade purist. I enjoy gardening, canning, fermenting, dehydrating and cooking from scratch, but I don’t do it all every day. P.S. I use olive oil to clean and moisturize my face. I rarely use soap, and my complexion has improved so much.

I'd like to point out something that is slightly on topic and slightly off topic. Especially for those of us who don't have a Trader Joe's in town, I recommend checking out your local International market. I don't know that there are any or many chains of them so it would be hard to do a YouTube video review of them unless you wanted to just show an example but every time I go into them I find things that no other store has and sometimes the things that other stores have I will find much cheaper in an international market, like black seed oil or date syrup. Typical for me to buy an international market would be orzo, the date syrup and black seed oil, black seeds themselves along with other kinds of seeds like sesame seeds, Poppy seeds, basil seeds, etc. They also carry a wide variety of various spices that are absolutely delicious but would not commonly be found in your local grocery store and a wide variety of flours, some of which might not be found in local grocery stores or health food stores. I have purchased yogurt drinks, cheeses, snacks and desserts, breads, canned goods like beans and lentils, various nuts and seeds and many more items that might only be found in the local International Market unless you paid double the price to order them from Amazon. It's just a suggestion for those that have an international market in their town. Oh, and Asian markets which also have a wide variety of products that are just not available in Walmart or grocery store.

I can't go to a Trader Joe's without making sure I bring home some of those little tiny peanut butter cups. I prefer dark chocolate unless they're out of them but I will buy them milk chocolate rather than none at all. Unfortunately there is no Trader Joe's in Amarillo although we've been trying to get one.

100% agree about Oat or Almond milk and other non-dairy milk. Checking the label immediately tells you the real story. I still say Milk is 100% milk and good for you. Be it cow's milk or goat milk… and like you say, so many things can be made from milk. Oh yummy!!!
