Nice video. I may seem like a naysayer but putting all your eggs in one basket, lovely and organized, but if your doing a stock for a year, all in one place – think about it. It just not you but so many prepper do it. First rule should be my grandma said don't put all your eggs in one basket, one place. And if 10 pds of potatoes is a lot to you to buy ha ha, hopefully small family, never getting a stock that way, week thing . I guess you have little we ledges on your shelves ,are your shelves bolted to your walls even. Idk I guess you don't have storms maybe. So just a week pantry, sorry.
    o my. good luck.

I use my garage for my glass an canned food goods while the rest are stored inside my home. It’s what some folks can do but that way the dampness won’t destroy my hard earned money and food supply. God bless love the ideas and tips. My biggest is storming my root veggies but I’m working on that now before winter.
I cut the plastic just off the top of my cases of mason jars so it saves the boxes they came in and I ask the local grocery stores for boxes to store my canned goods.

Consider putting bungee cords with a hook across the front of your jars. They will hook tightly into the holes on the shelf. In the event of an earthquake, they will help keep jars on your shelves. Also, attaching the shelves to the wall will also help prevent tipping in an earthquake also.

Hi there! Love all your videos, especially food prepping! You're pantry looks amazing! I have been stocking with canned foods and some pre-packaged. I just found an ad yesterday for glass canning jars at a farm store! $7.99 for 12! Yay! A water bath pot on sale too! This video inspired me more to do it! Thanks for making this! God bless ya'll! ❤️

Make sure the shelves can handle the weight. I have found filling all my jars with water helps in this. I can also have emergency water with jars not filled with food at the moment. Great for grid down cooking.

That is what we did used a room for a pantry as well and all so deep closets. And we use one of the bathroom's bathtub as a closet for hanging clothes with extra shower rods . Since we have another bathroom we use as a primary shower. We two adults and 10 year old twin girls it works for now. God bless y'all and your followers.

Thank for your videos. I learn a great deal from you. QUESTION: Will you please do a video on the process of preparing & using the whole chicken you cook in Instant Pot? I would much like to see how you do it. Thank you & God bless.

The pantry is looking great . I've really fallen off the preserving wagon for a few weeks , time to get back to it. I make my bone broth by 3/4 filling a 6 litre slow cooker with bones I've saved in the freezer until i have enough, cover with water and a splash of homemade Apple cider vinegar then cook on low. Its so rich and delicious, I can then stretch it with water when I open it at mealtimes and it takes up less space too . Thank you for sharing your progress and hacks . 🥰

I tried to scroll by but I just couldn't. I am not saying this to be mean. I genuinely want you, your family, and your subscribers to be safe. You say to follow the Ball tested recipes and not to deviate from them yet you do it all the time. Here are some examples: peaches must be peeled, salsa cannot be canned in quarts, after canning rings should not be left on jars, tomatoes must be peeled, after peeling and cutting potatoes must be rinsed and drained until the water runs clear (at least 2-3 times), no butter or oil should be added to a broth that will be canned. I would feel awful if I stayed silent and someone got sick or died.

Livingston, Texas here. Your pantry room is awesome. That's exactly what I'm installing in my upstairs remodel. Seeing yours helps give me ideas and that extra push to jump in and finish mine. Blessings to your family.
