Just learnt how to peel a shrimp in a more efficient way! Thanks, Daddy Lau!

At home, Grandma uses the long chili and it definitely has a spicy kick to it. I'll have to try it with bell peppers one day!

Love your videos, as I have stated in the past. I am on a Keto diet, so corn starch is among the many things I should avoid in my cooking. Do you think I could use Xanthan gum, or perhaps Psyllium Husk powder, as a thickener instead? The Xanthan gum will work even without heating, but the psyllium requires heat to work, so will only congeal once cooked. What do you think?

In Vietnamese culture, we have a similar dish, stuff tomatoes. My mom used to make it when I was a kid in the 80's. She would have some tomato sauce/paste in it, but not so much like spaghetti.

This is one of the few things my mom would let me help her prepare so this warms my heart. I’m an expert in adding corn starch and stuffing the paste into the pepper. 😊

Absolutely love this cultural insight! You have truly inspired my own channel, so thank you for your guidance. True authentic cuisine & skillz. We had small bell peppers with cheese last night but this looks incredible, with a basic marinade. Love the family contribution. How many eggs do you all eat??? Hibb

Love eating these during dim sum. I normally buy the fish paste in the tubs to make this, but I am going to try this recipe since everything is made from fresh ingredients. Thank you for posting!

Yesss.. many years ago I worked at a Chinese restaurant. The owner used to make these. I soooo loved them. Thank you Soo much for sharing the recipe. I tried once, to make these years ago. Didn't turn out very well. I know the owner used fish balls mixed with shrimp. I just never knew the technique… Again, thank you so much for sharing this. ❤️
