Great video Jen. I agree I never put my plastic containers in the microwave for all the reasons you listed. I would love to get a waffle maker, but not sure if I would use it enough to justify the cost.

I got my waffle iron from a lady my mom knew. She got the iron as a wedding gift in 1945. It makes the best waffles. It looks like it should be on it’s last leg but it works better than a new one my son got me. I had to laugh, every time you say I’ll link it below or you can get it on Amazon my husband groans or makes some smart ass comment because he knows if I don’t already have it I will follow that link and buy it! Hope your doing better Jennifer!

The tamp made me wonder if you have ever made layered β€œcookies or brownies” in a jar for gifts….you then include a tag with baking instructions, the recipe and what wet ingredients need to be added….I’ve made them for various holidays and as birthday gifts….I love seeing Murphy’s cute little nose poking up to see what your doing….

Hi Jen! I own that wooden tool. I use it for a small muffin pan. (I think I purchased it from Pampered Chef) I roll a ball of crust and then put it in the tin and push down with an end of the wooden tool and it forms a small crust. Almost like a mini pie crust minus the top! Nice meal ideas as always!!!

I haven’t meal prepped in a few months. We are moving and I’m just trying to eat through what we have. I’m dying without a meal plan or meal prep. It is so hard when you’re used to it. But with everything we have going on it’s been the last thing on my mind. But after watching this I was thinking welllllll….Jen makes it look so easy, maybe I should try! Great job!

Thanks for another great video! Awhile back,I used your link for amazon and bought the little disposable plastic containers and separated trays with dividers and lids that you use for lunches. This was a game changer for me! You had me convinced that meal prep was the way to go on the weekend and I make my lunches for the workweek as part of my prep. Life changing! I am so organized now and working for a hospital, this saves me money and out of the cafeteria where the heavy desserts, especially, call my name! You mentioned cutting up the food, especially meat, into bite size pieces because plastic forks just don’t do the job. That’s brilliant! You think of things that make life easier and your common sense and logic are great! Problem….cutting meat with a plastic fork at work….solution…cut it up at home! Thank you for your suggestions that have made my life easier!
