Nice video! Love Crispy pork skin!
What kind of salt does Dad use?
Usually I see him using a brand of table salt that has iodine in it I find that odd as all cooks I know and see on YT use kosher salt that has no additives. Just curious. Thx again for all the great recipes, techniques and meal ideas!

Great Recipe……… I really like this man's cooking…….. this will be next on the list.

So far I have made his Mongolian Beef and Special Fried Rice………..Goes at the Mongolian…….it was a bit too hot for me …….need to try swapping the chili for sweet chili sauce…….the fried rice last night was yummmmm……. made the Char sui pork myself……

Fantastic dish over there! Love Siu Yuk very much. However, at 9:44 the Chinese characters should be ไบ”่Šฑ่‚‰ for pork belly not ่Œถ้คๅปณ as the latter means coffee shop. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much for this recipe! Really nostalgic memories with this, going to Chinatown and picking some up and getting it cut fresh after it's just been hung up in the display. Can't wait to have it homemade.

I've made plenty of roast pork belly but never with that kind of beautiful crispy skin! It still turns out fine, but as I result I rarely have pork belly that looks and tastes this good
