Persimmons are yummy just to eat on their own. I was in my nail salon and my nail lady brought me out a chopped up one. She said in her hometown they just eat them, they don’t cook with them. They’re very good.

Here in the uk we don’t cook the persimmons we just eat them as a fruit snack, same with the physalis.
And with the cauliflower we make cauliflower cheese, same as Mac and cheese but with cauliflower and a sprinkle of breadcrumbs on the top!! It’s delicious

Collard greens are my favorite green. I use them in recipes that call for spinach or kale. Fantastic in Wedding Soup or Caldo Verde. Hope you like them!
You can just snack on the gooseberries and persimmons- they are delicious! I bet the kids will love them!
I love your channel Jen but how many men do you think would meal prep for his wife and kids before he has to leave for work travel???? I was a working mom for over 35 years and most of the responsibility still falls on the woman….love ya

Both the persimmons and physalis (gooseberries) are lovely to snack on as they are. I would put them in a fruit tray not do so much to them 🙂
