Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your thoughts…and thanks for taking us on such a beautiful walk…I live in Michigan now, but I am from the Pacific Northwest and there is just nothing like that morning light on all the green green green. I just turned 60 last month. So far, I have lost just shy of 60 pounds on a carnivore lifestyle. My goals for this year are to stay ever closer to the LORD, trusting Him more deeply to be my everything….when my head is in that place, my choices and my strength follow suit. My daughter painted a plaque for us with the perfect motto…"Pursue excellence with love and humility".

So true. I find that when I just listen to my body, it’s easy to gain, no matter how low the carbs go, and even with a lot of protein. Biggest goal this year is to get to the bottom of everything playing a role in triggering inflammation. I’ve uncovered some of it already.

What a beautiful morning walk. My grandparents (now my parents) lived in a farming community in Texas. I remember quite a few misty mornings like this. This is what we think about when we mention the quiet and stillness of living in the country.

I want to be a more productive person in the morning. I want the person who gets up, gets to work instead of sitting on my rear watching YouTube and drinking my electrolytes and coffee. I want to be the kind of person who gets up and does her video exercise instead of just sitting. I have never been a morning person. I want to be a morning person.

I am going to try and be more active this year. Doing ketovore, wanting to be more carnivore. Losing weight is my goal, got rid of seed oils! Glad you got the box for the kids and stuff today!

I really needed to hear this today, it's the small decisions every day that make the difference. I want to be the person who is fit, which means getting my bum off the couch and go for a walk. When you said Every single day I have the opportunity to make the decision to get me closer to the big thing. That big thing is made up of all those little moments of getting up and doing the walk, even when I don't feel like it. Thank you for the much needed kick in the pants! 😊

Since you asked… I’m 78 yrs old my goal is to be strong, fit and healthy. I know all of that is relative and I won’t go into to it except to say I promised my dogs I’d do my best to not die before them and leave them alone. ❤
