Loved this video! Never seen a fish batter like this. Will have to try it. Here in Oklahoma we mainly fry catfish or spoonbill, spoonbill in the spring as that’s snagging season for them. Loved this family video

Jennifer Sweetheart you could have made HOMEMADE MAYONNAISE just eggs oil & other seasonings . Once you make this you will never be without.. I am sure this just slipped your mind at the time. ( it is so simple to make) many YouTube videos out there. Thanks for sharing GOD BLESS FROM JULIE WEST CENTRAL INDIANA FARMLAND ✝️🇺🇸😊🚜

I haven't had a fish fry in years! It looks so good! I have a question…What type of foundation do you wear?… It matches perfectly. Have a blessed week and thank you for sharing your family!🌼

This always makes me laugh. People tell me I make the best potato salad and ask for my recipe. They then tell me that theirs doesn't taste like mine. I ask "how did you make it?" Answer: I don't like Miracle Whip, so I used mayo….I didn't have red potatoes, so I used russets and let them get cold before dicing them…..I added hard boiled eggs…I used white onions instead of red….I don't like celery, so I left it out..etc. Perhaps that's why it didn't taste like mine? Anyway, your fish fry looks wonderful, especially during Lent. My go to on Fridays is fish filet sandwiches. Hubby never gets tired of them. Blessings to you during this season.

Watching your fish fry prep reminds me of my grandpa! He’s been gone over 20 years, but the memories are strong. I miss those days. Up at the crack of dawn, fortified with Snickers bars and Coke, sitting in the fishing boat. 😂 I wasn’t much for baiting my own hook, but grandpa was a patient teacher. My prep job was always scaling. He used olive oil and shallowed fried in a couple electric skillets. Saltine crackers and pepper were a must! His best friend gifted him with a photo collage of their Canada fishing trips with the quote, ‘There’s six times more water than land, so anybody can see the Good Lord intended man to fish more than work.’ My grandpa did a whole lot of both well! ☺️🥰😁
