I went to my first therapy session once with.. someone not of my culture (I am half Asian/half Hispanic). As we discussed my parents she quickly cut me off by saying: “Can’t you just put them in a nursing home?!”That alone (amongst many red flags) was the biggest indicator that we were not a good match. I love the way you are doing your best to take care of your parents after all the hardships they have gone through ♥️ It’s a gift for them and even for ourselves!

Crying real tears to this. I can’t wait to show my mom the world and give her all the things she deserves. My mom would sell her purses and clothes just to make sure I could eat. She would work 2 and 3 jobs just so I could have clothes and goodies. She hasn’t been out of the state we live in since I was born. I wanna give everything back to her ♥️

You're a good son, Randy. What you did for your parents says much about you and the family you have. This episode brought me tears. You did well. Keep it up. Love your channel and your dad's cooking.

Hi, I would like to share a sad story with a moral lesson at the end of it:

I'm 29 years old. Four years ago (2019), my mom passed away due to terminal cancer. August of 2021, my dad was assaulted by a schizophrenic guy while he was doing his morning walks. He suffered such major head trauma injuries (he was initially in a coma) that now, hes completely bedridden, cannot seem to talk, and hardly moves his arms/legs. No one knows if he can understand or recognize anyone. I was struggling a lot for most of my life in school and I didn't really get my first job until 2021. Even though my parents were really harsh on me growing up, they cared about me and sacrificed a lot as well. They're the typical immigrant parents who worked several jobs and +70 hour work weeks just to put food on the table and a roof over our heads. We grew up poor. I finally have money but I no longer have the opportunity to pay them back. This is my biggest regret and theres nothing I can do about it. If you are someone who would, in the future, regret not spending more time with your family, please take the time to do it now. You never know when it might be the last time you'll see them. Thank you.
