I know this is an older video but those reading comments, I bought the Cabrio set back in 2008, the dryer broke within a few weeks! Turns out they put a screw for the belt on the blower motor? that would unscrew as you used the dryer! (That was a horrible design flaw!!) So the repair man would come out, screw it back in, put the belt back on etc… every 2-3 weeks he'd have to come back out. A few months of this, he finally got the "OK" to be lock-tight on it so it wouldnt unscrew any more! Havent had a problem since and I'm still using it. I just changed the drum belt last week (first time!) The washer broke a few years back and I went with the LG (but still using my Cabrio dryer)

Recently–four months ago–we bought a new Bosch dishwasher–not the top of the line but middle of the line.We love it!!!!!!!! It was literally a last minute purchase within an hour before the sale went off.We made the decision and dear husband sped to the nearest Home Depot and made the deal.It is very quiet and very efficient. We highly recommend it.Our current clothes washer is a Whirlpool their deluxe line. Our daughter has the top of that line and we have a middlish one more basic and fewer bells and whistles and it is very very good.We also use a cleaner every four weeks or more on both dish and clothes washers to clean the insides of the both .The cleaner is available at Loews or Home Deport.Directions on the package.Basically you use the tablet or whatever and run the machines on an empty cycle.Remove gunk in the innards of the machines and refreshes it so there is no odor from the clothes or dishes after being washed.Affresh is the brand name.

I don't recommend the high efficiency washers. They take FOREVER to wash a load of laundry. I just went back to a regular agitating washer and couldn't believe how much faster they were than the last two washers I had that were high efficiencies. I can't imagine having to do laundry in a high efficiency if my family was large.

Hi! I don’t usually comment but when I saw you looking at the huge Samsung washer and dryer, I just wanted to scream no!! We’ve had the very same one for several years and we have hard water and it’s been nothing but trouble! We do laundry every day and the washer is rusting inside and falling apart and the warranty will not cover because they say it’s cosmetic 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️. Also the dryer doesn’t dry well at all! The smart dryer as they call it isn’t so smart! Just wanted to let you know because I also know you have hard water. We’ve had to replace so many parts on both the washer and dryer that it’s ridiculous. We’re actually looking to purchase a roper now! Our last washer and dryer were 20 years old and a cheapie and we spent a lot on the Samsung thinking it would be perfect for my family. And now we’re going back to an inexpensive one. Sorry for long winded comment but just wanted o recommend anything but that one you looked at ! Love your videos ❤️

I have a cabrio but I don’t like that it does not have a setting to soak. It also supposedly conserves water which translates to it does not clean as well as I’d like! So buyer beware.

Front loading washers have incredibly long lasting cycles–some even several hours. Not a good thing if you are doing multiple loads as I would assume you would be with a large family.

We have a stacking Electrolux set. I do like them. We got them to stack so that we could eventually get another stacking set next to them. Otherwise I probably would have bought one that had the second spot to wash clothes.

I've had my Bosch dishwasher for 8 years now and I've never had an issue with it. Also, I have an LG front loader washer/dryer and I love them. I've had them for almost 10 years and they are still going strong.

The Samsung washer you looked at is the same washer and dryer set that my sister and I have. We both love the set! They have worked great for us for years! My sister cloth diapers two babies and so she does a ton of laundry in it and has never had any issues. We have a toddler and do laundry about every 2 days and it works great. It’s also really good for washing thick blankets and comforters

I have a Speed Queen washer and I LOVE it. They supposedly have two motors, one for washing and one for spinning so they’re heavier duty than the average washer. I also like that it’s a top loader with an agitator; I’m old school in that way haha. I tore up a GE one in under 2 years so I wouldn’t recommend them.

We have an LG washer and dryer and it’s a top load and love it.. the only thing that bothers me is here lately I’ve been doing larger loads and it will buzz that the load is uneven/too heavy on one side and won’t spin.. so you have to move the heavy wet clothes around it’s a pain
