You should be able to turn off the “auto shut off”. My button is just over the radio display and I need to push it each time I start my truck.
My new car allows me to turn off the engine shut when at lights and stopped I have the option
In my car there is a setting to turn the shut off function off in car settings
Is your car a hybrid? When we bought our first hybrid (2009 Prius) it was the first time we experienced the engine shutting down when idling. Since then we have purchased 2 more hybrids as we really do save a lot of money on gas (39-42 MPG). Thanks for sharing this video.

LOL, I have a 2016 Honda Pilot and it has the assist, which is what your talking about. The first time my Mom rode with me and it shut off and she completely freaked out! Sometimes it is a nuisance.
I bought an older model of my Mazda specifically for that reason 😂 the 2016 was the last model without automatic shut off, so I totally understand!
My husband and I don't like the auto shut off on our car either, for the exact same reason. We feel like we are suffering from car PTSD.

I have a 2021 Honda pilot and mine does the same thing it shuts off but it has a button that you can mash each time you start your car
I hate that about the cars too! There should be an a with a circle around it…if you push it it turns that feature off…but you have to hit it every time you turn the car on

Girl I had a baby tooth that would not come out. My adult teeth had grown in completely, I went through 3 years of braces, and it STILL would not come out. It was like a shark tooth, a second row behind my regular teeth. My first retainer after my braces had to be fitted with a slot for that one 😂 teeth are weird
It seems like all YouTube ladies start to get braces as they see their subscriber count go up. I am assuming it’s a trend nowadays.

You know there is a button to turn off the “engine on/off thing”, i drive a Q2 and I always push this button when i start driving. I think it’s the one with an “A” in a circle and saying “off”
Your first check up on your braces was 8 weeks later? That seems way too long. And your next visit is in 6 weeks? Why are they stretching it out so long? It doesnt seem right. I went every 3- 4 weeks to get adjustments and whatever needed to get done done. I would start pushing up those appts Jen!!

You crack me up "no one asked me! I don't like it" 🤣 I think it has more to do with reducing emissions than saving gas. I don't like it either. I have PTSD from driving POS cars that liked to crap out in intersections lol.
I had a BMW and it cut off. But I didn’t like it so I looked in the manual and you could turn it off! I did and never used it again lol.
I would hate a car that shuts off. I had a car that I had to rev when I was at a stop or it would cut off. I feel like that would bring back too many memories.

I’m convinced with the auto shutoff will cause all of the starters to fail prematurely. My husbands truck has it, but also has a shutoff button. My suv is a 2013 and doesn’t have it, and I don’t want it.
II bought 3 cases of built bars, and had terrible stomach pains and bathroom trips. NO ONE TOLD ME THEY HAD MELADEXTORS IN THEM. Not stomach friendly/ had to give them away. The Walmart clear cherry limeade is my favorite/
