After many many years of purchasing groceries I make up my list of needs walk into the store and only allow myself those items. I only go in the grocery aisle at Walmart unless an item on my list requires it. Can't believe how much I save avoid snack items they are too expensive if I can bake cheaper at home.
It’s interesting to compare how much groceries are . Food inflation has just hit 18% this week here in the U.K.
When I saw the canned chicken, it reminded me of a recipe I wanted to share…I take one can of chicken and drain then flake it, saving the broth…I then add it to one box of Angel Hair Pasta flavor Pasta Roni that has been prepared. I add some grated Parmesan cheese and add some of the reserved broth if it turns out a little dry… a quick, easy and delicious meal…English peas could also be added if desired…
