    I believe this recipe is specific to your family or village. I have never heard of adding milk to buttermilk and rice. I have eaten this delicious and healthy food for 16 years everyday. My recipe was, last night's rice already soaked in water since last night. the next day, remove most of water, then add yogurt, salt and optionally a little bit lemon. sometimes during winter times, I add hot water to quickly change the temperature and then add the Yogurt, salt and lemon. savor with Papadam, onion or avakaya. The pleasure of eating this food cannot be explained.
